OzBargain App Login Issue

I was logged out of the OzBargain app and when I try to login an email is sent to confirm. I’ve tried multiple times by clicking the link embedded in the email but it only logs me in on the browser not the app. Below is what the email says:

“We noticed an unusual login attempt for your account on OzBargain. If that was you, you may now log in to www.ozbargain.com.au by opening this link in the same browser where you entered your username and password.”

    OZB has an app?

  • Seems to have fixed itself as I’m now replying on the app.

  • The issue with confirmation email is that you must open the link with the same browser that you are trying to log in with. On iOS with OzBargain app,

    • OzBargain app webview is the browser that you are trying to log in
    • iOS Mail app is the browser that opens the link.

    Unfortunately there's no current solution except some workarounds. We won't send the email if we know that you have previously logged into OzBargain using this IP address (from the last 90 days). So if you log in from Safari (make sure confirmation link is pasted into Safari), you should be able to log into OzBargain app w/o email confirmation, as your current IP address is whitelisted for your account.

    If you don't want email confirmation at all, you can turn it off from your security settings. We could also turn it off for OzBargain apps but that just means any potential hacker can do password scan using OzBargain app.

  • I have had same issues, re installed and tried again after few days and it works.
    Also turn off email confirmation,,
