Cheapest 13 Inch Tablet Available?

This is actually proving pretty hard to search for. Everything seems to be 10 inch or smaller.

Basically I want a VERY CHEAP but large 13 inch tablet.

I only want it for one thing - reading magazines, so ideally it'd run android and I can just put some image/pdf viewer on it and be done. I don't want games, I don't want 5g, I don't want any extra crap. I just want a screen I can flip through downloaded magazines on.

Essentially a $200 max tablet would be great. Not looking for a used one, just a cheap, simple, large, tablet.

    New, <$200, 12 or 13". I don't believe any tablet meets that criteria.

    13 inch screens alone probably cost around that much let alone adding a tablet to it.

    What you're after is very niche and your only options will be expensive high end competitors to the iPad Pro or looking on AliExpress for something cheap and nasty you can import from China (if they even exist).

      yeah did a look on aliexpress and came to that conclusion too

      I don't understand why there isn't a market for a large screen but very basic spec tablet…. seems like it would have a lot of uses.

        Because the screen and battery make up the cost at that size, not the hardware. And a 13" screen is 70% larger than a 10" screen when it comes to area.

        That and Android isn't a good tablet OS, it doesn't get better when blown up even bigger. And there's a lot of overlap between small laptop and large tablet, you lose portability at that size with a laptop and a keyboard brings a lot to the table. Things where a tablet wins out, like art, doesn't mesh with cheap either.

          And if you make a tablet with that big a screen you want it to have a big screen resolution or it'll look crap, and you'll want it to have some processing power to it or it'll run like crap.

    Check the deals that come in from AliExpress for the Lenovo tablets. I got the p11 pro and it's amazing..

    Ended up going into a store and playing with tablets. Went with a 10.5 inch.

    Thinking about it, a 13 would probably be a bit too heavy and 10.5 seems perfectly fine for reading magazines

        Aside from the obvious pairing Thord and Odin were also created 1 day apart. I'm kind of interested in what the OP did you get their first account put in penalty box since they made this post yesterday…

          Yep, reported the account. They joined at the same time. They both live in Sydney. They both happened to want a 13 inch tablet to read magazines. Also used one account to upvote deals the other account made.

          My hunch was right.

          Honestly, I don't care. I didn't know that having two accounts is such a horrible crime and I'm really not fussed either way.
