Sony MDR-EX155AP Is It Worth The Money?

*Keep in mind it says for the white model in very small letters if you're thinking of buying.

Thinking of purchasing these. I own the WF c500 and I am happy with the way they sound. Tried searching the frequency response graph for the MDR, but there seems to be no frequency graph to compare the two. I was hoping they were close enough to the WF c500.

Should I buy them and what are your experiences with these?

Open to other IEM suggestions for the 0 - $100 range, but I would prefer to keep my things Sony.

ChiFi has really improved over the years, I can personally vouch for the BLON BL03 and TinHifi T3 Plus. Excellent build quality and well-tuned v-shaped sound signatures (bass isn't too bloated, upper mids and trebles allow for vocals to push through still). If you're after a more neutral sound, people seem to praise the HZSound Heart Mirror

There are heaps more like the Moondrop Chu and Tripowin Olina that others love, haven't tried them myself though

    • Out of the BLON BL03 and TinHifi T3 Plus which one would you spend your money on if you had to get one?

I'd get the T3 Plus. Fit is heaps better and the sound is more refined. You can use as is; the cables and accessories are of decent quality
