      That deal ended

      • Ya can't see 256 for the same price anymore like the screenshot

      • You're right. Coming up as $1,399.30

  • +9

Might be worthwhile to point out the other price drops

    S22 128gb $874.30
    S22 256gb $944.30
    S22 Plus 128gb - $1084.30
    S22 Plus 256gb - $1154.30

  • Any trade-in?

    • Can trade in phones but don't get a bonus amount like main site

  • +6

Can vouch for the s22+ for 1084 is a good deal.

The Ultra is a hefty boi.
    S22+ is just right.

If one is not a student nor a teacher?

  • EPP also has same price

For some reason, prices keep changing

Here is the updated one at 11:52 AEST

    https://ibb.co/SvbpD37

As you can see 128gb and 256gb are now have different price

  • It seems like "Bonus memory upgrade!" and "30% off the Galaxy S22 Series mobile phones!" promotions are having some trouble co-existing. LOL

Bonus memory upgrade page is on the home page but 30% off the Galaxy S22 Series mobile phones will be under EOFY Sale page. If anyone had luck purchasing with the advertised price please let others know. Cheers!

Price changes might be something to do with this

Paid $1500 for the S22 Ultra 1TB through the education portal during pre-launch.

    • The prelaunch prices tend to be the best price you'll get in the first few months.

What I have noticed though, is they will shift the base model - either getting rid of the 128gb one, or pricing the 256gb at the same point. Maybe it's some plan to make the resale value drop?

Sign up for a free tafe course and they will give you an email

    Can't recommend the red.

Looks way better in pictures than real life.

It's more a faded red than anything. The chrome around the camera rings is yuck too. Doesn't match the matte rails.

  • Don't forget $50 code for signing up to their newsletter

Don't hv email address with edu.au

    • +3

      One can't buy. Simples.

      • how does one sign up. I already have a normal samsung account (not edu). But i just did a course and still have access to my .edu.au email. Is it possible to sign up?

        • Yes, I have both accounts

  • +1

    price error.
when you check out, it will show the 'original' prices.

      Samsung is playing joke 🤣

  • +4

Will not recommend 128gb for ultra, it has more custom software to support 100mp and s pen
Better to get 256 which has 12 gb ram for future proof

Samsung site having issues at the moment, that's why price keep changing, chat said they are working on it,
There supposed to be free memory upgrade and S22 should be around $874.30 for 256GB
    S22 Plus should be $999

    • +1

Keep us up to date if they let you know

    • Any idea on S22 Ultra prices please?

    • S22 Plus 256GB for $999? id be interested.

      • No idea where he's getting that price. It's $1549 at 30% off taking it $1084 for 128GB. If both the 30% off and free storage upgrade can be used together then I think best price would be $1084.

Would be good if there was also a trade in bonus with the deal…

        • Im on the Samsung Education Store. Something is definitely weird. Does say there is a free memory upgrade option.
          S22 Plus 128gb $1084.30 and the 256gb $1154.30.

When I add the 256GB to the cart, it comes up as $1239.20. It also says "Get the 256GB for the price of 128GB". (so the price actually increased).

          • @dmcneice: I'm on Government store and exact same issue… Need an upgrade should of just went with the Oppo X5 Pro deal with JB Perks.

  • Apple takes fake Academia accounts!
Has anybody tried that with Samsung?

  • Chat tells me its all a price error. Well Boo.

    • got told it was a site error and to email support

  • You can get access with a Westpac bank account

They also have the standard colours for the same prices

    • When I add them to cart the price goes up. Is this for epp only? I have edu store.

      • +1

The price is remaining discounted via Westpac

        • +1

tried using the link from westpac bank account. the price is different for s22 ultra 128gb ($1294) and 256gb ($1399)

        • Weird, thats the prices i see on the website, but they change in cart.

        • be careful if you're accessing both the westpac store and the regular samsung store in the same browser window - it gives weird errors sometimes

  • I went to a Samsung store with my 7 year old (I didn't originally intend to get an education discount, he was just with me at the time and I asked if they could do a better deal than the 30% off with trade-in and they mentioned going down the .edu route) and used his school email address and was given education pricing, combined with $280 trade in from 64GB iPhone 11 which was on its last legs, I got a 256gb S22 Ultra for ~$930 about a month ago.

There appeared to be zero validation of the .edu email address as well, fairly sure you could have just made one up.

    • did you have to sign up for an account this way? I have an edu account but samsungs verification email never comes. I had to sign up via UniDays.

      • No, literally all of this was done in-store at a Samsung store in Sydney, I didn't sign up for anything. I had previously tried to sign up and do the regular 30% off thing but the Samsung site is…frustrating at best.

        • +1

Thanks, I might try my local Samsung Store and see if I can get it to work.

  • Cameras are disappointing. Shutter lag, slow to focus, HDR worse compared to previous S21U even the Z Fold 3.

The rest of the phone is good.
