Seriously though, I grew up playing this and love that it got a faithful remaster with all the expansions built in, modern network play, all included in the initial purchase and that they just took their hands off it and said "ok, done, all yours, we aren't going to extract any more money out of you for it".
Same as the steam one but cheaper?

Not a true legit seller but reputable enough.
I'd go Steam still. Not like it's not worth $10. And so are the developers for remaking it.
Is there a benefit to paying more to have it on steam?

All good. Some stuff you buy on Steam needs to "call home" every time. But if you buy from Origin or similar, it's for them only. Cheaper, because no STEAM commission.
