Fair warning that these are fake. Got em in December and they're not original.

    • Take a chance and Amazon might let you keep the fake and refund.

Came here to say the same thing. These fake cards have different colours which are shades of pink very close to each other. Amazon allowed me to return (free of charge). They were originally sold by HT so these might be the returned ones.

      i wouldve flipped

How the f- can something be officially sold as UNO, and by all means look pretty much exactly like it, but still be fake?

Why go through all that effort? Why not just slap UNO on it and call it a day. Clearly the folks buying these fakes don't care for its originality, just that you can play UNO with it.

Great insight. Do you have your own podcast?

        • I'm asking you, I'm the clueless one here.

Same as above, last set had 5 different colours instead of 4 and 3 of them were shades of blue. I CBF having to return them which was the only way to get refunded

    • Is this just uno flip or all the uno card games from Amazon?

      • Just Uno flip from my experience, also bought the anniversary edition and seems good quality/genuine

  • It’s been $5.45 delivered here for a while

    • Buyer pays for return postage

Amazon uses mixed stock from a variety of sellers. It includes counterfeit copies. Avoid or buyer beware.

Some of the fakes are so bad the game is unplayable because it doesn’t have the right range of colours. See the reviews.

Amazon uses mixed stock from a variety of sellers.

Are you sure this happens in Australia?

      • +4

Considering ExtremeDavo, Benjamin7711 and Doowyah’s comments above I would say yes. Also the Amazon reviews I mentioned are from Australia.

In a broader sense I’ve seen fake Catan and Exploding Kittens in Australia at $2 shops and on FB Marketplace.

There’s enough good sellers around that I don’t buy from Amazon anymore. MindGames, Gameology for special interest games. Kmart, Target, Big W for mass market games.

One of the issue with Amazon is their returns. If a customer returns a fake product, they sometimes just put it back into stockpile without checking, then they send out fake products.

If it’s this widespread, could be more than just returns being fake though.

    • +4

If anyone does want Uno Flip at this price without the risk of a fake then you might be able to price match at Target. But only if Target considers Amazon AU an “Australian online retailer.”

  • +5

Probably counterfeit uno cards are a deal now?

  • +6

Can confirm received counterfeit cards from amazon.

Had to purchase from local target for genuine stock.

Normally wouldn’t care much but in this instance the colours were so bad we weren’t sure what colour the card was. Really interferes with gameplay, would not recommend.

  • +3

The actual game (when not counterfeit) is a nice twist on the original with basically no learning curve. Meaning you can just break out this version with any Uno veterans and it all makes sense in about 30 seconds. Would recommend if you see a legit copy.

  • Fake

  • The standard price for this is $8 at Big W and Woolies but it’s often on sale for around $5.

  • +1

Got mine today - They are legit

    • +1

      Same, real. All correct colours.

    • +1

Received mine too — definitely legit.

  • Definitely intended to mislead. The "Visit the Mattel Store" link at the top points to a shop called "Over The Moon".

    • That’s an Amazon issue anyway.
