Looks like they are pricematching EB games

Playstation store sells for $70. Ebay has used copies for $18. Eb games bizarely has preowned copies for $34

Amazing game, great for short distractions. I don't really play games anymore, but I still found myself sinking 150 hours into it.
It's sort of a simplified version of Eve-Online mixed with Spore. Best thing about it is it's in active development, so they are adding new elements to the game all the time.
Last major update was May 25th that introduce organic ships a la Farscape.

For Xbox users, this comes free with gamepass. PS5 users might be able to play this as a free upgrade but I'm not sure if that's for digital purchases only, or even if its still valid.

P.S: One thing that's really infuriating about the PS4 version is the lack of chat options. You can't type anything in, only do these weird gestures (like ODDWORLD but less useful). Makes coordinating missions with other players hard

  One of the best "comeback" games of the last few years. I got this game for the PC at launch, and it was a massive disappointment. Glad to eat my words now, with the devs still going at it.

  To clarify, yes, the native PS5 upgrade for this game is free — it doesn't matter whether you have the digital or physical version of the game. This applies to all PS4 games that offer free PS5 versions.

  You insert the PS4 disc, then you can goto the PlayStation Store and add the PS5 version of the game to your PlayStation account — from then on, you will always need to have the PS4 disc inserted in order to play the PS5 version of the game (obviously).

  The digital version of this game combines both PS4 and PS5 versions in the one title, so if you previously bought the PS4 version, you'll automatically have the PS5 version as well.

    I like the gamepad for running around as a character.

    For communicating with other players, a keyboard is really necessary. Plus I hear the graphics are significantly better.
    PS4 has the advantage of VR (which is what got me to try it initially) but I found the experience rather difficult and haven't used it more than once.

  Damn, that didn't take long. I think Amazon must only keep half a dozen copies when they pricematch, because it's hard to believe they sold out in an hour.

  Walked into an EB Games store today and they had a copy for $19. Seems to be on their Ebay as well but with a hefty delivery fee on top. Travel to your local EB Games and ask the clerk if they have a copy.
