  They may be starting to clear stock as Hue has announced new Gen 2 versions coming with higher lumen output (1100) and different fixture sizes:

  Personally though I find the current gen plenty bright enough for my needs.

    Regarding the fixture sizes, the current Hue downlights in Australia (Garnea and Akari) are both localized for our market specifically. Garnea for example is a 150mm (6") cut out and 900 lumens elsewhere, while it's the standard 90mm here at only 540 lumens, and I'm pretty sure Akari is the name for the ANZ variant specifically.

    The new gen downlights are already available on the US site, but I'm expecting them to be different sizes (as 5"/6" is not a common cut out here) and possibly lumen output once they arrive here.
