I have used one of these every day for the past year and can attest to the durability, no scratches and the parts are easy to clean and no plastic taste like you get for some of the plastic bottles.
Just one point however, the bottle is heavy - the specs on the website states it’s almost half a kg, so with water you’re lugging more than a kg and I’ve found that too inconvenient for keeping in the bag while commuting or walking, it’s instead just a bottle I keep by the desk or nightstand.
Absolutely love my Klean Kanteen bottles. I'm on to my 2nd insulated bottle (I lost the first unfortunately.) and bought my wife one too.
They use to come with a lifetime warranty, but I think that has been reduced to a couple years now though.
Clicking on one of their bottles shows it’s still a lifetime warranty, perhaps you were looking at a different line of products?
We love ours with the cafe cap; easy to take apart and clean every single component so there’s zero gunk even after a couple of years of usage.
My only wish is they sell the silicone tips for their metal straws separately, as the metal predictably outlasts the tips.
