A ‘friend’ is thinking of getting a second car, but is struggling between an odd mish mash of makes and model variants. Excite? Essence? Sports? Sports+? Kinda feels like the 90’s with Street Fighter 2+ super special extra mega edition.

The MG is top of the line. Kia almost top of line and Hyundai I have no idea. Better than base N line but not.
All have pretty good reviews and safety features but for some reason I feel Hyundai has the best safety systems. No idea why, probably just good marketing. I think a test drive will be the decider. What are OzBargain’s thoughts
Handling is not bad compared to other near new SUVs I've driven.
I could live with the level of power but comparing it to my dad's Astra , admittedly a car rather than an SUV fuel consumption, power, speed and handling of the Mg SUV is no comparison. I think I would much rather own a larger hatch like an i30 or even a cerato over the subcompact SUV for all these things.
