Lockdowns and protracted rain have dampened things for a long time, but the Sydney CBD is set to cheer up this month with some free outdoor activities. Wynside Out festival – Wednesday-Thursday June 29-30, 8am-6pm – encourages attendees to participate in team challenges and collaborate in designated outdoor areas, framed by the greenery of the park itself.

The festival is split into four sections: Play, Eat, Relax and Collab. As it takes place during the week, companies can use the space for employee team building. So if you’re in that awkward transition phase going from working at home to slowly emerging back into the office, or if you just find yourself in the CBD with some time to spare, then it’s well worth checking out what Wynside Out has in store…

Complimentary each day

• Donut Papi (9 am to 10 am or until run out)
• 150 x uBEIGNETS™ (pronounced as OOH-BEN-YAYS) — Ube (Purple yam) flavoured New Orleans style beignets served with condensed milk (Free until they run out!)
• Butter (11 am to 12 pm or until run out)
• 100 x burger and fries packs (Free until they run out!)

$2 from 3-4pm
15CM (3 pm to 4 pm)
$2 slices of Pistachio Basque Cheesecake (WynSide Out Special) Normally $8/slice

and for Wedneday and Thursday
Wednesday Stitch : 50 free portions between 1.30 – 2.30pm on their relevant day only

Thursday Santa Caterina: 50 free portions between 1.30-2.30pm on their day only

  Well I turned up at 11:40 and there were fu ck all people there, thought I would inquire about the free burger but alas, got denied. I did get a free massage after eating a (paid) one! Don't think impossible is for me (no resistance/bite in the patty, unlike when I tried V2). Massage was quite good, the lady was quite firm.

    Yeah same for me and the cashier seemed kind of rude about it (like I get you would've had a lot of people asking, but surely that was to be expected). Didn't bother with a free massage, but seems nice if you can get it.

      I wasn't gonna mention it but yeah I got some attitude as well. I would've thought the organisers of this event (NSW govt?) would've paid them for the giveaways shrug so yeah the attitude did seem strange. Even if it was out of their pocket, it's not like it was his money, lol
