Woolworth's Everyday Rewards Program

Hi,

Does anyone know how these weekly exclusive offers work? Like are they randomised? or do u have to spend a certain amount?

I got a useful one this week "spend over $50 and get $10 off" surprising how i got it when i don't use the card much( use once every week or 2). However, the 2 other linked cards didn't get it and rarely gets those emails while they are regularly used( >2 times a week)

  • I get offers every so often, it seems tailored toward what you buy as they are always giving me pet food offers LOL.

But I have never got money saving offers though, just bonus FF points. Feeling jibbed LOL.

This is my deal this week:
Double Points: Receive 2 Qantas Frequent Flyer points per dollar spent over $30 in one transaction

  • They send more inducements if you are not a big spender. I'm getting offers all the time because I'm such a cheapskate. :) But they are junk mail to me, I buy little there and I would never collect enough points to get anything.

  • Yeh i get those FF or Petrol like every time and and i don't need either of them, so bit surprising when i got something good for once.

So it seems that if i use my card less and less, i'm likely to get another one of these decent deals.

Maybe that's the trick, collect as many cards as you can and once you redeem something good on one, you know that card's going to be useless for a while so put it aside. :)

      • Thats what I do & it pays off. Have 2, but will get more, so can get more/different offers.
Those two have different offers - one-off 10% with $50+ purchase / double points on the other. Deal has been repeated this week - one-off 10% with $50+ purchase / 100 points on $30 fresh food on the other. 10% off is on a card not used for a month. Other is used once every 2 weeks.

        • same here, i got the 10% off on purchases $50 or more this week. I used the card last week and spent like $10 and used the EDR card.

  • about a year ago from my everyday rewards card I got a BOGOF on sanitarium vegetarian sausages (which I buy every week) that was pretty good deal and I stocked up big time.

but maybe once every 6 months I get some type of good deal.

there was a good fuel deal awhile ago and it was 16cents off. I don't know if it was a "special" for some holders or what.

    • pretty sure i got a 12 cent fuel disc about 1.5/2 months ago (special email)

  • Bought a $19 500gm pack of Tassie smoked salmon (hey I was getting 10% off). Noticed it was 1 week before best by date, so asked if it would be discounted. Was gruffly told - no way. So much for Woolies 'fresh' claim. Bought it anyway as it would be eaten in a few days. But price scanned higher than shelf price, so got it free AND made $1.95 on the deal with the 10% EDR card discount this week!! Would have loved to have told the grumpy one I got the salmon free and made money on it.

    • nice one. I'm staying away from woolies seafood, few weeks ago i brought a piece of salmon from the deli. When i got home and unwrapped it, it had some really strong fishy smell to it. Possibly it had been there for quiet some time.

Our dogs refuse to eat their chicken necks - will eat them from anywhere else though.

love the "price scanned higher than shelf price, so got it free" deal.

      • Better than FREE - this time, got 10% cash bonus on top of free, due to 10% off with EDR card!!

  • this is what they call data mining, they do research your shopping pattern then try to push your spending
