  • How is Vics Meats? I was looking to try them out and order recently, then saw some terrible reviews on Google and FB and decided to give them a miss.

It’s honestly not bad. Steaks good quality and of you get it on discount it’s worth it.

Their wagyus are acceptable. Other meats range from mediocre to not even fresh. I'd only consider their wagyus.

They are ok but their marble rating can sometimes be skewed.

Got their ms 9+ eye fillet that is $200/kg and I believe their mb7 from victor churchill shop are much more tender.

Reverse seared their bisteca and it was beautiful.

Their karubi cuts also not bad although another butcher does em better at similar price.

A little inconsistent. I have spent thousands of dollars with them.
Sometimes the quality is very good, but recently I have been receiving bbq wagyu cuts that have heaps of silverskin and lower end (non branded) scotch fillets missing the spinalis dorsi portion.

Also note, when they have 20% off you cannot apply any vouchers that you bought, they count the 20% off the rrp as discount.

never ordered online with them before, they use to open their warehouse on saturday mornings, we use to just buy direct from the freezer door

a little bit of a premium, but definitely good quality

Yeah I used to buy direct from warehouse years ago. It was good back then. Their online shop is hit and miss.

Vics Meats' prices are not competitive (even with 20%). Check Kelly's/Meat Inn Place/Umitochi …

Price is not that good to be honest
