Hey all,

Please be gentle with me, first post!

Was looking for a gaming headset at my local BigW and noticed that this Turtle Beach stuff was pretty cheap.

The website showed little or no stock but when i visited a store (Fountain Gate) there was plenty of stock in Black and White on both Xbox and PS5.

  These are good headsets, I use the 700 Gen 2 for my Xbox One/XSX (wearing one right now as I type this).

  But these are discounted now because it is being phased out by their latest model 700 Gen 2 Max.

    How’s the mic and any connectivity issues on the Series X? A lot of negative reviews in regards to random disconnections turned me off

      I've had no problems. The 700 Gen 1 had huge issues for me, which is why I sent it back to Amazon for a full refund. The Gen 2 has been working well. Mic is also good and no issues.

    I believe if you buy the Xbox Wireless Adaptor for the PC, you can use them on the PC. You can also use it on the PC via bluetooth, I think.

        no, I use the dongle as its easier to pair and quicker to reconnect after it auto shuts itself after inactivity…

        i also have bluetooth connected to mobile as i regularly take phone calls via mobile. however, if i'm in a Teams meeting on PC and a phone call comes via mobile, it will overtake the headset and people in Teams will not be able to hear me so now I turn off bluetooth on my mobile.

  I have the stealth 600 gen 2, and audio/mic is decent for the price BUT the headband is fragile and both sides at the extension have snapped within a month or so (returned first pair after it happened once, only for it to happen again on the second pair in a month after use). Overall would not buy again
