down a few grand… got into three rug projects, Fullsail, Brick and then was "hard rugged". It's like in the movies where a hacker just drains your funds while you are at the computer. All were shilled by influencers. They were also Yield farms with high APY/returns. But basically those are scams as the token itself gets depreciated. Someone made a throwaway comment about investing in "dot, eth, zil, ada, reef, rsr, snx and ksm" around March 2021. That mix would have been good, but you would have had to take profits.

If influencers are talking about something, it's shilling. Also anything with massive apy is a scam.
@brendanm: yeah found that out a while back, mainly posted as a warning. Also there was a point were I did make money. Just didn't take profits.
Like any Ponzi scheme, crypto made a few people very rich at everyone else's expense.

this bull run didn't feel very good at all, like the memes were good whilst we were going up but looks like a ton of people got real hurt on the way down, rug central everywhere with almost no chance to recover…
in 2017 it was more clowny nobody really took it seriously, like i seriously thought my mining profits was monopoly money for a long time, until it went down 80%
2020 crypto bought a house and 2022 was a disappointing year.
Made a 100x play which was quite nice - $200 to $20,000.
But otherwise fairly low profits across the board, was up a lot more before the crypto crash. Happy for the extra side-hustle money regardless.
If you just take out the profits you make and play it conservatively it's fairly trivial to make profits - lots of suckers in crypto HODLing and letting greed take over. You probably won't make millions taking out profits and being conservative but you're also not going to lose any money.

Lost a lot in Crypto as well and Never invested in crypto ever since UPHOLD account was hacked and I got not a single cent of my own deserved money. (Someone converted all funds into BTC and send to someone's BTC address - Not me)

Managed to sell my holdings for a few grand of profit right before everything hit the proverbial fan - traded them for a new Canon R5. Didn't make as much as I could have if I sold at the ideal moment, but I came away with a decent profit and that's a lot more than some people - I'm thankful for that!
Looking forward to all the millionaires coming out of the woodwork to vote in this poll.
