Unable to See The Bill in Energy Australia Online Website

In 2017,I had an account on a Brand new rental in St Albans with energyaustralia. I later changed it to Simply Energy and stayed with them till Feb 2022 or so.

I recently bought a new home in West and in some of the forms I signed, it seems that I have been signed up to energyaustralia for Gas/Electricity(They were already giving power when it was a Lot 223, Anystreet, Melbourne).

I was sent multiple bills and disconnection notices when I was not moved in. Some days they sent 2 letters on the same day. I called them but the line was always busy and and after few hours was able to get an account from TANGO. They again called me to upsell few things later that day when I was driving.

I got two mails from Tango

I have sent direct debit for Tango and they send me bill invoices each month too.

In May energyaustralia sent me a bill which I paid as I took it to be the initial bill. It was less than 50 AUD

Now I have two emails in my [email protected] email and both of are for 14 AUD.
Where can I raise complaint about this?

  • The online chat agent of the company told me to ignore the bills but I cannot take his word as Gospel, or can I?

    • they could ness up your credit. I asked for it in writing that I didnt owe any money, they sent an email

      • This is my worry as well. In my language they say "sword falls on cucumber or cucumber falls on sword, it is the cucumber that gets hurt"
