Thanks to OzB, I'm the owner of a shiny new S2. Does anyone have any recommendations for mobile carriers?
From what I've picked up in the comments area over the last couple of months people seem to talk about TPG and LiveConnected quite a bit. Would one of the two be the best companies at the moment to go with?
PS. I would be a light-med user, mainly emails and web browsing, possibly a few you tube clips a day with a handful of calls a day. Ideally I'd like unlimited free calls/texts between the same carrier like Virgin has free V to V calls/texts anytime.
I use TPG's Super Value $35 plan. If you're a TPG internet customer, it's $5 cheaper per month too. They use Optus infrastructure so coverage is pretty good. Unlimited text messaging (international included), 3GB of data, unlimited free calls to other TPG and Optus mobiles as well as $1000 credit a month for all the 13/18 and international calls. Been pretty happy with their customer support though I haven't needed to use it much anyway. Hope that helps!
