Steam Mop / Carpet Cleaner Recommendation

Hi,

Mainly I am after cleaning the carpets. but it could come as together I wouldn't mind. My budget is around 200, could be a little higher, depending.
So what brand or model would you recommend to wash carpets?

Very competitive industry, just google it around your local area and get a quotation. You can't usually go wrong with them.

I think he/she wants the actual device, and not a service.

  • Have one of these. Compared to an entry level Bissell I ended up chucking in the bin it's been absolutely great.

Only fault I can give it is there is some disassembly required to clean the brush.

    Otherwise 9/10 for the price.

    • I've had a slightly-better-than-entry-level Bissell for many years and it hasn't missed a beat. This was before all the low-cost clones started to appear. A neighbour bought one after seeing mine, but they decided to put essential oils in the tank for that "nice smell". Unfortunately that makes the plastic go brittle and destroys the machine. If you follow the instructions, use the correct cleaning chemicals and take care of it, there is no reason it shouldn't last forever

      • Our entry level Bissell just wouldn't stop dispensing the solution. The plastic on the plunger valve was no good. I rigged up a pull to dislodge it every time it got stuck a, worked well for years.
But eventually it stopped sucking as well as it used to despite being cleaned. So tossed it in the bin and bought the VAX.
The difference being the VAX has the powered brush , which is a big difference.

      • Which model do you have
