  Still a deal, but be aware that this is the Turbo variant (which retails for $2000 on ecovacs.com), not the Omni, which is the top of the line and has the mop cleaning feature.

  I think they did a switcheroo on the RRP.

    yeah, Amazon got the prices wrong, they are comparing the discounted Turbo price to the normal Omni price.

    They should be comparing it ($1599) to the normal Turbo price of $2099, or even the normal Amazon Turbo price of $1850 or $1799…

    Kinda feel autoempty would be a more useful feature than cleaning the pads. The inability of the x1 to lift it's mop to get over carpet also really limits its use case.

    That said, you can get this for the same price as the robot only of the s7 maxv, so it's a very tempting price.

      My robot vacuum would sit on carpet so you are saying it wouldn't even be able to start? Thats crazy

        Honestly I'm not sure. Apparently with the pads on it won't go on carpet since it doesn't want to drag water everywhere all over your carpet. Seems to be an issue with me though since I have carpet in my bedroom and i want it to do my ensuite.

        The s7 maxv (robot only) is l about 20 percent off ($1120) in prime day sales, so I went with that instead.

      The rotating mopping pads give the best mopping performance, and far better than any other robotic vaccum, suits me and my hard floors perfectly.

        Good to hear, they look pretty good. If they could lift it would be perfect. I did read about issues with the rotating pads making contact with the ground though.
