Price beat at Officeworks for extra 5% off. Just remembered they probably don't price match prime deals due to membership.

  • Jb hi fi might price match and the combine with trade in bonus.
Unfortunately they don't have the sim deal going on anymore

  • +3

Just did price match with JBHifi and use $500 voucher trade in on top.
Ends up $999 for S22 Ultra 256Gb - the price of my old phone
Waiting for my order to be pickup.

    • Did yo do it online ? also store location plz.

    • can you advise how you got them to pricematch? over the phone/ live chat?

      • +1

Live chat, they just did it for me and also 20% of any accessories.

        • price match using chat, just send amazon link ask them to price match.
          did it online.
Order is now ready to pickup

        • did you get the voucher working for JBhifi? last time I tried applying the $500 voucher didn't work

          • @OZcheepsk8: I price matched online and $500 voucher worked too

            • @Voi: did you enter the # infront of the Voucher code?

              • @OZcheepsk8: Mine worked too, no # at the start. Enter the code into the promo code box

                • @nicholasv: Where I can get a promo code?

                  • @gretathunberg: Promo codes were for a trade in bonus. I am not sure if it is still running

                    ozbargain.com.au/node/711123

                • @nicholasv: I couldn't find the promo code box. Is that on the 1st screen where you can select the delivery method/ pickup store, or one the 2nd screen where you key in the credit card?
                  Thanks

                  • +1

@Averell: Did you receive a promotional url for the price match?

                    • +1

@nicholasv: https://direct.jbhifi.com.au/<6-unique-chars> <<< They gave me something like this.
Anyway, I found it - that's the "coupon code", not "promo code", on the first screen.
The first direct link they gave me didn't accept the code (it just didn't reduce the price). I changed to a 256GB version (asking for price match the 2nd time), and the 2nd direct link they gave does accept the code.

              • @OZcheepsk8: No. I had troubles to get code to work few days ago using PC though, but it worked fine using mobile phone instead

            • @Voi: when did you apply for the voucher? mine didnt work

              • @Pursue4: See my comment ago. On the first screen after you clicked on your direct link, the same one on which you provide delivery/pickup details. The box is named "coupon code".

                • @Averell: Yep it was top of the page the price match link takes you to, viewied on the mobile phone

                • @Averell: I put it in but it doesnt work unfortunately. I wanted to know when you applied for the 500 voucher

                  • @Pursue4: Ah, I did that this morning, after the 1st price match (which didn't work) and before the 2nd price match (which worked)

    • How did you use Trade in credit online ? It has only Card number & PIN .. ?

      • On the 2nd screen (where you give your credit card details) there's a section for "gift card"

    • Same here price matched the deal from 2 days ago, and worked.

  • Wondering what is the trade in value for my old S10 plus with JB Hifi??

    • +1

      I got $160 offered

  • Thanks. Price matched 512gb via livechat without any issues. Finally making use of these hoarded JB vouchers. $609 out of pocket upgrade not bad. Time to retire the note 8.

    • hei were you able to apply $500 bonus voucher starting with #? I got couple of quotes, but all of them failing to apply coupon code.

      • +1

Nah, I didn't have the bonus trade in voucher. All my vouchers were gift cards.

  • Do we need the trade in voucher before speaking to chat or they can apply it straight away?

    • The url for the deal that they provide will work for a couple hours (mine is until midnight), so you can speak to them in the chat and then get the voucher later and apply when ready to checkout

  • Can anyone tell me how do I get the $500 voucher? Been wanting to get S22 Ultra 512GB for a while..and I think this maybe the right time.

  • +2

I am not able to apply the $500 voucher to the price match. Please help.

  • All ordered with JB using price match, S22 Ultra 512GB. Took me 10min after online chat guy made a basket with the order in it.

    • Hi, after I got the link via chat, he guy said I'm not able to use any trade in voucher. Any way I can bypass it? Thank you

      • I cant seem to be able to apply my extra $500 coupon on the order

      • You get sent $500 voucher then the trade in value as a gift card

        • Yep i have received both emails. However as i understand in the "coupon code" you enter the $500 code which starts with a #. When i enter the code it just gives me an error. The actual trade in voucher is supposed to be used in the next screen when actually making the payment.

          • @PreOAbs: Try again without the #

            • @damihi: I did, gives me an error none the less

              • @PreOAbs: Had to get a second quote and then the code worked. Thank you everyone

  • Hi All, just slightly confused - so basically once you price match and have a link from JB ( the https://direct.jbhifi.com.au/XXXXXX ) which code do you enter in the coupon code box? The one that you get when you complete the trade-in?

If so when you apply the additional $500 voucher?

Thanks and apologies if this has been mentioned anywhere above

    • Not the one that you get from Trade in. You get a $500 code sent in a separate email

  • Pricing error with Officeworks the last few hours still not corrected, 512GB Ultra @ $1067 rather than intended $1607.

    • I wonder if you could get Jbhifi to price match it

  • anyone had luck with Officeworks!

  • +1

Just completed my order at JB - thanks for everyone's instruction. Here's what I did:

Step 1: Request pricematching Amazon Prime via JB Hifi Live Chat - they will give you a individual link showing pricematch
Step 2: Go to JB Hifi squaretrade, enter details, get ID'ed (photo ID, credit card) - You will get 1st email containing JB gift card in the amount of your old device trade in
Step 3: From that same email you received, click the "Bonus Coupon Offer" $500 for the Samsung S22 series - you will get another email
Step 4: Enter the coupon code without the # - you will immediately see $500 off from the JB Hifi cart
Step 5: Checkout, enter the JB Hifi gift card for your old device value

Optional Step: I apply 2 more JB Hifi e-gift cards (3% off) that I immediately bought from my Macquarie marketplace (total 3 gift cards applied on the transaction - it should take more, but I didn't try the max).

    So I traded my S10 128 GB for $150 + $500 voucher
    I bought the S22 Ultra 256 GB for $1,499 - $650 trade - $21 egiftcard savings = $828

    • When I type the coupon code. It gives me an error message

  • Has this expired? Link only has 8% discount?

    • +1

seems like its sold out on many - lucky for you, officeworks has price matched. Check this out - https://www.officeworks.com.au/shop/officeworks/p/samsung-ga…

    • +1

I believe it has expired, I have a few links from Jbhifi price matched still if you would use it. I have a couple price matches for 128gb and 256gb (both black), if you want to buy from jb then I'm happy to send you a link

      • OZcheepsk8 coming through, I forgot about the officeworks price match. It is $2 cheaper than Amazon was for the 256gb model. Shouldn't have any issues price matching with Jbhifi, but I assume that the price will reset tomorrow

        • Hi nicholasv, do you have another link for the 256gb? cheers

      • Hi mate, may I please have the 256gb link? thanks

      • hey nicholasv, any chance of a 128gb link please? thanks

      • I would appreciate a 256gb link if you got one spare! PM please!

        • +1

I don't have one spare at the moment but I just did one via their chat now. They price matched the office works price of $1497. If they say that it is out of stock and they can't price match then just say "it is available for delivery". They will check officeworks again and then process the link for you

          • @nicholasv: Thanks a lot, I'll give it a go!

          • @nicholasv: No luck two agents refused to Price match Officeworks

            • @mardetanha8033: Strange, I'll give it another go and will post link here if any luck!

            • @mardetanha8033: I just got the 256GB Burgundy price matched which what I really wanted but already bought the one from the link shared by nicholasv, can PM you the link if ok with that colour

              • @junfila: Yes please

              • @junfila: I'd appreciate the link. By the way, can you change the color while processing order at JB? Or the link is locked to the color?

                • @MOMEHT: Its locked to the colour

                  • @mardetanha8033: Oh… So there's no way to change the color, right? Still, if you could please share the spare link, I would appreciate it.

                    • +1

@MOMEHT: oh already gave the link to mardetanha8033, but I am sure still can get another price match from their chat with the colour you want

                    • @MOMEHT: Which gb and colour were you after?

        • Just to let everyone know that I managed to swap purchased White to Black in store during pick up. At first the person at registrar was reluctant, but I asked to talk to a store manager. The latter was also hesitant when she saw the price I paid for S22 Ultra 256, but after some quick calls agreed to exchange White for Black.

      • heyo would you have a 256gb spare link by chance? Any colour will do

      • love a link pm'd for 256 if you have one

  • Apologies for off topic question. Does this phone support two SIM cards? My S10 has two physical SIM card slots. I use one for Optus card and another for international SIM card.

    • Yep all phones in the S22 range are dual SIM

    • +1

No sd card. So single sim and esim

      No dual physical sims

      • Oh my mistake, thanks for the correction. I thought it was dual, not an esim! Thanks kehuehue
