  Do yourself a favour and get the Wifi model. I have this, and even just going to the bedroom the BT would cut out. Ended up buying the Wifi model instead, worked much better.

    Agreed. Wouldn't be so bad if the unit didn't go into alarm mode whenever it lost connection and beep loudly and repeatedly.

    Yeah same boat here. I have this and it's great but since I moved my smoker out to the shed it's not a whole lot of use. I'm hoping for the wifi model today

    I'm only just starting to get into smoking so didn't want to spend too much upfront and saw this as a good starter.
    Do you have a recommendation for a good wifi model at a similar price point?

      Inkbird but with less probes. Or a simple non Bluetooth/wifi one.

      I'm sure the Wifi model will be on sale either today or tomorrow.
      The WiFi model most likely be a 4 probe, but that's all you need anyways.
