      Agree, don't expect anything for calling. But does the job for listening to music and charging your phone.

      I had to shout really loud for the other person to hear what I'm saying.

    Is it something to use in older cars where the head unit doesn't support bluetooth playback? My car has bluetooth but only for calls, not for music.

      doubtful, my partner is running latest iOS on her iphone 12 mini. Confirmed to work as of last weekend.
