The chocolate in these has gone way down in quality - it’s more similar to a Milky Bar now. I think they’re made in Malaysia now rather than the USA ( the stock we get here in Aus anyway) fwiw.

    • Yeah I thought it tasted similar to a milky bar with cookies from nestle.

I bought one the other day, they're awful now. Not worth it.

    • +1

Agreed, way too sweet and no flavour.

    • +1

I always think this smells/tastes like vomit.

      • +1

I last tasted this about 20 years ago, and that was my exact thought, and why I never tried it again. Felt like I'd just vomited in my mouth.

What an age we live in, where you can get one small chocolate bar delivered right to you.

    • +2

      For a dollar!

      • It costs a $ at all 7 Elevens

        • +2

          But they won’t deliver it.

  • +1

Rip off for a piddly little 43g chocolate bar

    • +1

In your opinion, what is an acceptable price for this size bar? Keeping in mind 45g Snickers bars and such quite often sell for $1 on special

      • +2

I suspect it's in the context of how much a block of chocolate, or a fun size multi pack costs, etc… but I agree, relative to other single serve, ready to eat now, this is a good price albeit without the usual allure of it being ready for immediate consumption at the supermarket check out.

$1 in the 7-Eleven app (but limited to 1 per 24 hours and you actually have to go to 7-Eleven rather than just having it posted to you)

Bought one just to piss off the delivery driver

    • +6

they get paid same thing if you order a $1000 watch or $1 chocolate bar..

      • +4

Ahh well ordered one to screw Jeff Bezos

  • Creme

  • Can you purchase more than 6 ?

  • I think they are $1 at 711 for next 19 days

  • +1

    1$ in IGA too..

    • +1

      is that free delivery too

  • I just came here to comment on the taste, not that great, very bland plastic like.

Is American chocolate just not as good as ours?, its nothing like milkybar.

I see them fairly frequently in those cheaper by miles (discount stores) where they sell these for like 5 for $2 and there is a mountain of them.

i would not say they are disgusting or anything but just okay, someone said they were made in malaysia which would explain the plastic like texture since they have to survive the scorching heat

    • Made in Malaysia. Aldi are selling the bigger XL bar that was made in USA and tasted much nicer than the Malaysia ones

  • +1

Reese's Nutrageous Bar, 47 Gram also available for $1 delivered and Reese's Peanut Butter Cup Milk Chocolate 42g Bar for $0.94 delivered.

  • Technically whoever purchased this can all get a refund for false advertisement. Advertised as a 43g bar but sent out 40g bars. Also stated country of origin is United States but the bars are made in Malaysia.
