    Thanks OP got CK one

    • Which one exactly?

  • +4

Idk about these specifically but anyone who isn't using stick deodorants, you're absolutely mad.

I get one of these bad boys https://www.woolworths.com.au/shop/productdetails/41655/brutโ€ฆ maybe once a year.

It's Australian made, doesn't have a strong scent, and appears to be reasonably friendly to sensitive skin (YMMV).

I can't believe I ever used spray deodorants, let alone Lynx et al (not even deodorants).

    • +2

Yep, this thing was great when I was travelling overseas for work on just a carry on and in certain countries any container of liquid (not even aerosal) was very difficult to get through security. The only reason I use spray is because people won't stop giving them as cheap gifts…..

      • +4

As someone once told me, if people are giving you deodorant as a gift.. its usually a hint

        • -2

Haha, so if you keep being given undies and socks for Christmas they're saying you should stop going commando and being a hipster?
I understand the comment but I also think it's the easy 'thoughtless' gift.

    • +7

Didn't think I'd see someone bragging about wearing Brut that knows how to use the Internet, but well, here we are.

      • +1

Hey, it's nearly as good as Brylcreem!

I kid but if it ain't broke don't fix it. The Brut stick hasn't got a strong scent, isn't full of bad things (as far as I can tell), is made in Aus, lasts forever, and mostly keeps me non-stinky. If I find something I like (which is quite rare), I will shill it.

      • +1

IF they had of used Old spice, I would of flipped the table go walkabout forever.

    • How does it compare to roll on?

      • +1

I've never liked roll-on - I always felt I didn't get enough with each application or I got too much, leaving a wet armpit. Also I have hairy armpits and too often the rollerball would rip a hair out.

Sticks go on smoother, more consistently, and i've never had it rip a hair out.

        • +4

have you considered trimming your arm pit hair? It might help

          • @Homr: Lmao why would I do that? It doesn't cause any problems in life other than occasional issues when using roll-on deodorant, which I don't use because it's also crap.

    • Aren't stick deodorants unhygienic? I spose they last alot longer? I just feel rubbing my pits and covering with a lid promotes nastiness

      • How would they be unhygienic? You put it on when you're clean then pop a lid on. No different to your soap sitting out in the shower or on the sink.

The 'lasts longer' isn't even close btw - I still have one I bought from like three years ago lmao. I literally do not remember when I last purchased one.

        • Until you realise much much older in life, who's hairs were stuck to the family soap….

      • +1

A little, but given that antiperspirant works by stifling bacterial growth, there's not going to be a ton of bacteria growing on there

        • This isn't an antiperspirant

    • +1

They go half price all the time too. Work well.

    • Yes Lynx gets the job done for me, I dont like to be paying > $5 for regular deodorant

  • +2

I'll give it a crack, ordered. Thanks OP

    • +2

      this is not for crack

  • Iโ€™ll take the free one

  • Great deal, will give these a go.

Need a replacement as the classic Old Spice has apparently disappeared in Australia for the last 6 months+.

Does anyone know what's up with that?

  • I use nivea aqua cool, which CK stick is similar to that??

Or should I get one of each??

  • CK one is $19

    • It's back down to $7.41. I just bought one at this price.

      • CK one is still showing $19 for me?

      • Now gone again. So maybe I bought the last one.

        • AHHHHHHH

          • @Homr: On no. Keep checking, it might come back again, hopefully.

            • @Rodo: It is now showing currently unavailable hahaha

              • @Homr: It was showing that earlier too and then suddenly the deal was back so I went for it. Hopefully it comes back again and you get it.

            • @Rodo: Still no stock

  • Got all of them but CK One as its out of stock.

For some reason the CK Free refused to deliver to my address, but it was more than happy to deliver to my parents house which is an extra 20Km from the Fulfilment centre than my house.

Pretty good deal, dont think id ever buy these at regular price

    • I heard the obsession one is pretty bad, supported by the reviews

  • I have tried eternity …its pretty bad…

  • Reviews aren't very impressive on Amazon.

    • Amazon users use deodorant?

  • Why is CK Be never on sale??

  • All OOS except for Eternity now

  • these make your armpits sweat, it isn't an anti perspirant. i had the ck one, and my armpits were always wet.
lotion and cologne works great though.

    • Your armpits make your armpits sweat. This is a deodorant, not an antiperspirant which is, well, anti perspiration. This is probably why those of us who prefer deodorants over antiperspirants do so, it doesn't block the sweat glands.

      • lol, blocking the sweat glands in your armpits isn't bad. i don't like raising my arms and seeing a huge wet spot there. since it is a deodorant it keeps your arm pits swampy.

  • +1

Thanks OP. Got obsessed! Everything else is unavailable.
