mate which dealer is it? I'm considering the exceed and have went around multiple Mitsubishi dealers which all said same price as listed. It has now increased from 53k to 54k(premium paint) after 30th of June 2022. They can only offer free matt, premium plates, 4 years roadside assist. Im in Sydney.
This was few months back via car broker not dealer . He quoted him 50,800 to be exact in Victoria.

Discounts are rare in this market. Big discounts are almost unheard of.
You are right but still they have some room specifically on top variants .

Good luck with the wait. I enquired about an Exceed and it was a January/February arrival.
Ended up going with a Hyundai Tucson N Line instead which was cheaper than the Exceed. We didn't need the 7 seats, but it would've been nice.
That pricemycar website reckons LS 7 SEAT (AWD) can be had for Driveaway: $42k ish.. and the EXCEED 7 SEAT (AWD) for Driveaway $51k ish.
I get the impression it is looking nationwide though and unsure how it actually works to lock in those prices.
My frd was also after same car but exceed variant . The top variant with AWD, sunroof , leather seats and all that was listed as 53k but dealer said he can do 51k.
