Handeee Paper Towels

Never bought paper towels before. Wondering if $2.50 for two rolls of paper towel Handee brand is good value. And what is the best paper towel for cleaning up spills?

Comments

  • I use paper towels a lot at home, mainly for cleaning.

I find the Aldi one-ply, 4 rolls $2.99, better value than Handeee and the other main "multi-ply" brands. I don't need 3-ply for most tasks - and buying them would be both a waste of paper and a waste of money.

(On the rare occasions one-ply is not enough I double or triple up! :)

    … and if you want/need 3ply, Aldi's version are $2.29 for 2 rolls.

  • Isn't the Handee ones that are one sale for $2.50, double the size of normal paper towels? So really it's ~4 for $2.50.

    • The Woolies deal I think the OP is referring to is on sale for 2 double length rolls for $5.00. The Viva deal at Coles that has just finished - 2 regular rolls for $2 was better IMO.

Next time you are in the Reject Shop have a look they sometimes do $1 a roll for one of the decent branded paper towels, Handee I think, but I'm not 100% certain. I buy a big pack of 12 and forget about having to buy them again for 6 months LOL. Paper towel is such a rip at regular price.

      • There was a special on Viva? Darn, I missed it. I've tried most of them, and find it to be the best, at least for our needs.

  • I find that the double length rolls are always cheaper than even the ones that are on special at the time.

  • Noticed today that Foodworks has three roll packs of Thick and Thirsty for $2.99.

  • cool I will go to foodworks. are thick and thirsty good?
