How did you redeem it? I mean it looks like the staff simply deducts $5 from the final total as there is no barcode associated with this promotion.

I went to that exact store once to pickup my BOGOF tender burger order in early June.
It was around 4pm, only a few customers.
The manager was so angry on me that I didn't went inside the store but went through drive thru instead.
He said I was blocking other customers.

The chips and gravy deal is an in-store offer I think? I just asked for 2 of that, then mentioned I have a $5 voucher to use (and to echo comments above, the cashier was visibly upset when I mentioned the voucher).
+1 thought it was strange, not like it comes out of their paycheck and if RR didnt want people to use them, why give them out?

Only once per account. Unless they don't scan ur card/ask for ur mobile number to match. The voucher disappeared after claiming from the app
The Bunch of people working at my store are hopeless, Brought 2x Chips and Gravy for $2.50, said I wanted to use the $5 off, he said no you can't its off your next order, said nope that's not right, after while he figures it out. When it came to giving the order, I opened the bag to notice that I only received 1x Chips and Gravy, said to the staff member that I have only received one, he obviously pressed the wrong button, seriously can't work the POS, had to wait for them to cook up another bunch .
Got 2 pc $2 fried chicken with $1 sauce today with the $5 credit, no issues

Im not sure, it was a 'try a piece for $2' sign at the counter. I think there is a limit (maybe of 3 pieces), I didnt read the whole thing.
My local had 10 cheesy nuggets for $5, so got them free with the $5 voucher no issue at all.
