What's a good price and brand for 215/65R17 set of tyres? Largely city driving with an annual roadtrip.

TIA

    For what car??

    • VW tiguan

      • Just throw a set of Michelin primacy SUVs @ it.You won’t regret it.This tyre consistently tops the tyre tests.

If something is being sold in Australia under ACCC it is already good, and is BRAND NEW.

        Not some second hand garbage.

        • Oh…they are Grenlander not Greenlander…just FYI

          • @oscargamer: Ah didnt notice it, thought it was greenlander, guess they tryin to replicate the real greenlander

    • Greenlander is cheapest I think

I put Grenlander COLO H02 on the kid's Honda Accord Euro. They were a lot better than expected. Truckloads better in every respect (noise, wet and dry performance) than the Toyos they replaced. I'd fit them again. Also a lot better in the wet than the Dunlop SportMaxx I had on the Octavia.

If you haven't lived with them, then it's probably best not to comment.

      • All i said was it's the cheapest, I never said they are bad

        • I was having more of a go at the other dude. My approach was a bit obtuse.

Stick with (in no particular order) Goodyear, Bridgestone, Continental, Michelin, Dunlop
    then Kumho, Hankook

What ever is on 4 for 3 special

  • Long life, grippy, quiet?

I am using this one, it's very quiet. Very good value for the money.
