  • How good or bad compare with Galaxy A73? Anyone can help me? I am looking for the Samsung around $600 model. Thanks

    • +2

      Much better phone than A73

    • S series are the premium device series.

A series are the middle/entry level devices.

So things like the screen, battery, construction materials are better (much better) with a S21 h even if FE is actually then plastic, than an A series.

That's 'as new', i.e. a refurb. The digiDirect listing is brand new, comes with a full Samsung warranty

    • +2

the link says its 'as new', so its used?

      • +1

Ah, didnt realise it was a refurbished phone. The description says it is in pristine condition though.

Why is it preorder when same store has it ready for shipping on eBay?

    • Good question

  • Why choose this used phone over the $700 brand new pixel 6? Please explain, legit question, I am looking for a new phone

    • It's not a used phone, it's brand new.
I assume the Pixel 6 you're referring to is the one from Amazon UK - you won't get an Australian warranty and hardware support may be limited. The Galaxy S21 FE is Australian stock and would come with a full warranty from Samsung.

You can compare the two here - https://www.androidcentral.com/samsung-galaxy-s21-fe-vs-goog…

  • I was curious if this was a grey import. I saw this:

"Buy Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G 128GB Graphite with Samsung Australia Warranty from digiDirect"

But also, when you add it to your cart, you pay zero tax.

    Is this a local product?

    • yep digidirect do local stock

the item price is including GST - go to checkout:

      Subtotal $649.00
      Shipping $0.00
      Grand Total (Incl. GST) $649.99

      • If you view and edit cart it says:
        Subtotal $649.00
        Tax $0.00
        Grand Total (Incl. GST) $649.00

So no tax? Or do they mean no other taxes on top of GST?

  • Is the Exynos chip only a drawback for gaming?

    • IMO yes. But I thought Snapdragon are much more power hungry too. So it depends on what your usages is.

  • 128gb version is only 6gb ram compared to 8 on the 256gb model.

I bought the s21Fe 256gb version recently over the S21.
Not huge difference between the 2, FE also 1yr newer so longer support.

  • Is this snapdragon or exynos? Apparently they have different camera sensors. Do you think this would make much of a difference?

  • Wow - considering this is listed as $999 RRP, is only available on Samsung partner stores as $799 128gb/$879 256gb, taking another $150 off the price is pretty great

  • Only 128GB without expandable storage. Even at this bargain price, might still be worth considering the A73…

  • Any clue when the preorder would be filled? I couldn't see anything on the listing.

This is a great price for the FE, you barely notice the difference to the standard S21, and for this much cheaper it's an easy sell

  • Any bricks and mortar store likely to price match this?

  • +2

Managed to price match at Officeworks, bringing it down to $616

    • Lucky you. They normally only price matched in stock items, not pre-orders.

  • Showing up as $899 for me :/

    • Yeah I just came back to buy it after looking this morning to find it expired… feels bad

    • Lucky I got my price match when I did!

  • My order was cancelled due to pricing error :(

    • What do you mean, was the pricing wrong at $649?
