Hi, Skate 4 is going to get release on the next gen consoles & PC
So i decided to invest in a PC instead of a next gen console.
But wondering what kind of specs would i need to run skate 4 smoothly
while also replicating the hard of the gen consoles to my pc?
yeah i just didnt want anyone to get confused sorry.
But considering it will be made for the next gen console could it possible to estimate the spec requirement?
If you mean current gen consoles like PS5 then they're almost 2 years old already. It's not hard to beat nowadays as they're around RTX 2070 to Super performance. But you won't do so for the same ~$750 price bracket of course.
PC games also tend to have a lot more flexibility in settings so you can play an assortment of resolutions 1080p, 1440p, 4K and even 8K as well as several graphics settings from low, medium, high to ultra with tons of other graphics customisation options in between.
Any modern PC today will be able to play skate in 2023/2024 but to varying quality depending on many many factors and your personal choices.

@wongphu: Depends which i5, they've been around since 2010. But most lastest generation ones will, yes.
There is a current preference on AMD Ryzens at the moment for better general performance/price so don't discount them.
"Skate 4" is just called skate. It's free-2-play, at least a year away (if not 2024) and doesn't have minimum specs announced yet.
