Good evening Oz Bargain,

Just wanted to point you in the direction of this article on Dealhacker. It shows five different android tablets, including the recent deal I've seen around regarding the new Kogan Tablet to be released the deals are as follows:

  • Tablet PC 4GB 7-inch ICS tablet, $113
  • Millennius Gold 4GB 7-inch ICS tablet, $179
  • Kogan 8GB 10-inch ICS tablet, $179
  • Zenithink 8GB 10.2-inch ICS tablet, $199

Exception to the sub-$200 clause:

  • Dell Streak 7 16GB 7-inch Honeycomb tablet, $279 (via Optus)

Seem like pretty cheap deals. But then the question rises of $'s v Quality.

I would like to clarify that I don't have any association with any of these providers or with Dealhacker.

    this would be best for the forums, as it isn't a deal or sale, it might be cheap but its just regular prices.

      I really think that construing the meaning of the word "bargain" is really semantical. Who cares if it's not a 'deal' or a 'sale' in the strict senses of the word? It's a good deal and some people might want to buy it. That's it.

      I haven't broken any rules with what not to post as a deal.
      I'm bringing products with great value to the eyes of the internet.
      It's a bargain, and hence should be posted on OzBargain as a bargain.

    ALDI's print catalogue has them selling a 9.5" tablet for $249 from June 6. Can't find it on their site yet, but from recollection it's a dual core 1ghz, 1024*800 LCD, ICS. Main feature attracting me is HDMI output, but I would like to know the output res it can do.

      Might be worth looking simply for the rather lax return policies that Aldi has, but $250 is cutting pretty close into "branded" tablet territory.

      If you know where to look, you can get IPS 10" screened dual core Rockchip 3066 tablets just under $250..
