PIA VPN 115% Cashback? So You Get Paid 15%?

Noticed this deal was over 100% which I have never seen before. Has anyone else seen or used one of the cash backs? How does it work when it’s over 100%?

PIA will pay you to use their service because YOU are their product. They're owned by a malware company that harvests your data.

    • One of those VPNs you would use just to bypass geoblocks on Netflix and that's it. Hey with a cashback like that surely you'd cover a fair bit of a Netflix subscription cost and get borderline free American Netflix?

    • Knew there was some catch, nothing is truly free.
Could get the cashback and then never use it I suppose?

  • Yes… i got it.. cashback received…. trust them come on..

    End of thread.

I did mine through ShopBack earlier this year, which was the same deal as Cashrewards currently. Got my cashback on-time with no dramas.

I'm aware that something fishy is going on with them offering above 100% cashback, maybe they're lacking sales and are trying to acquire more sales in the hopes people forget about their renewals (Like most services with their 30 day free trials). Maybe their parent company Kape Technologies is preparing for some sort of sell-off are trying to increase their userbase and yearly revenue to impress potential investors? Who knows…

If they're acquiring and selling my browsing data then so be…..Do you really think popular services like Google, Tiktok, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat aren't already gathering and selling your more personal data anyways? Do a simple Google search, especially regarding Tiktok. The rule of thumb is that if the product is free then YOU'RE the product.

Kape Technologies also own 3 other VPN companies (CyberGhost VPN, ZenMate VPN and ExpressVPN) and I doubt their competitors are any more or less saints. Lets not forget about the Nord VPN hack a few years ago where the hackers were able to steal sensitive user information including logins….. They have been running 80%+ cashback deals quite often since that happened.
