Any OzBargain-Approved Watch Shopping Websites?

Hey all,

When I was younger, I was fascinated by mechanical watches and collected really cheap pieces online. Now that I'm an adult, the Orient Men's "Sun and Moon" automatic watch genuinely fascinates me and I want one! But the cheapest I can find online, barring V1, are approaching $400.

Are there any websites that OzBargain collectively seems to trust for authenticity, service, and price? Namely price…

Thanks in advance!

Starbuy seems pretty popular on here with regularly posted deals.

Came here to say the same thing. Most of the good watch deals seem to be posted from Starbuy.

The deals look so enticing. I feel I may have jumped into an awfully deep rabbit hole…

Tell me about it. I love watches and have more than I could ever need and this site doesn’t help my watch addiction.

At least with the amount of watches I have, I got some great bargains and saved a shitload on what I bought at least.

    • I bought a Pulsar watch from Starbuy and a year later the leather type loops broke. I wore the watch about 5 times a week. Contacted Starbuy and they weren't keen to assist. Lesson is be wary about buying leather type bands as they don't seemingly last!

      • Of course they wouldn't. Leather bands are often considered wear and tear items and even buying direct from a premium brand like Tudor wouldn't cover you for the leather strap, much less the kind of cheap watches from Starbuy.

He said watches, not watch shaped objects copied from other watches.

        It’s called a ‘homage’

        • Taking design cues and taking designs are vastly different.
Every Aliexpress 'homage' is overtly trash in its blatant copying of designs. I would buy a Steeldive original, or 'inspired by' design, but straight up copying is just… cringe.

  • Watchuseek for second hand watches if thats your thing. Otherwise, starbuy!

Bought my Baume & Mercier Capeland there about 7 years ago. Still haven't seen a cheaper price

Kmart ones are still good enough dude, A watch is just a watch.

Only difference is if you need a smart watch then comes like Fitbit, Samsung Galaxy gear, amazfit, apple watch and cheap knock offs (like bahun from aldi, or ebay/amazon generic ones)

  • Thanks gamers. I ended up buying from Chrono24 for $308, having spoken to a dealer. Cheers!
