  the product comes with the pre-installed on-board one cell Lithium Polymer battery (according to the website), but you will need 6 AA batteries for the transmitter (which you will use to charge the Lithium Polymer battery). With the integral Lithium Polymer battery the helicopter has a flight time of up to 6 minutes on a single charge and can be charged again from the transmitter in 20-30 minutes.   i have to say that after the $5 increase in price, this deal doesn't look so good anymore. don't know about the brand of the one in DealsDirect (Rider), but according to the reviews http://www.dealsdirect.com.au/p/mini-rc-helicopter-ir-remote… looks pretty good.

These micro-R/C helicopters are great!
I purchased a pair similar to the Hyper Hobbies featured variety.
The only thing to watch with these low cost heli's is that they are IR (Infra-Red) remote control.

If you begin using other devices that also use the IR band at the same time (TV remote controls or video A/V senders) it interferes with the flight control systems.
A relaxing loop around the lounge room airspace can suddenly turn into a bad day at a Russian Air show!

  My one was swept away in a freak wind over the fence to my neighbour's backyard. Couldn't see where it landed and never seen it again. :(
