Need to scan QR Code on the website or visit this link https://app.shopback.com/MPzA1i6zArb to see voucher - it doesn't appear in app otherwise.

40% Cashback offer on a $50 Star Car Wash voucher is vailid for new ShopBack Gift Cards customers only. Limit one purchase per eligible customer. While promotional stocks last.

With that said, the voucher appears to allow me to make the purchase even though I have previously purchased gift cards - I haven't actually purchased the card though, so it may block at that stage - or, it will default back to a normal cashback amount and not 40%

  • I can confirm that it doesn't work for existing ShopBack Gift Card holders. The purchase doesn't go through.

Not commenting on the deal itself, but Star Car wash are absoloutely terrible. If I put a big X on my roof with white board marker it will still be there when they are done. If I have dirt in the wheel well that won't be touched or the underside of the car in general. They will suggest a detail just because you have some mud on your wheels. A $15 laser car wash will do a better job.

Side experience: I have sat in their cafe after ordering an outside only wash only to watch them opening up my glove box and going into every door (Didn't clean the door seal area either!)

  • I usually just wash my car on coles express carwash, around $10 per wash
Never had any issue with it

I read Star Wars on the title and immediatly opened it
Maybe I can get my deathstar cleaned

    • Spoiler alert: it would take more than a wash to clean up those blown up bits

      • Just a scratch! haha

my experience with Star Car Wash was horrible…after taking 1.5hrs longer than quoted theres like 5 guys working on your car with power washers and stuff and yet they couldn't get dirt off my rims, build-up off my windows or bird poo off my roof. I pointed it out and they "attempted" to get the poo off the roof and a portion of the grime off…which they successfully did. They still declined to clean my rims because it was 'baked in' considering their washer couldn't get it off. I went home…apparently me and my 4yo are pretty strong because we could get most of it off simply with warm soapy water and a microfibre cloth. $55 i'm never getting back.

    • Yep, unless your wheels are protected (wax or ceramix) the brake dust definitely needs some elblow grease and WHEELY Clean relatives to come off.
