Ibotta / Fetch Rewards Equivalent in Australia?

Hi All

I was flicking through Facebook today watching some of the Reels and i saw one about a cashback app like ibotta/fetch rewards in the US where you scan receipts and earn points. This one was actually available in Australia though.

Anyone know what it could have been?

Cheers

  • ReceiptJar :)

  • Sounds interesting, had my morning coffee looking at this Reciept Jar (thanks jackary).
So for every reciept over $100 from an approved vendor you upload, you get 20 points.
For 1000 points you can get $5, so if I uploaded reciepts of my $100+ weekly shopping for a year I would get enough points for a $5 cashback.
Go for the better exchange and get $100 for 19,000 points - which is 19 years of weekly shopping reciept uploads.
    Or is my maths bad?

    • Your maths isn’t technically wrong.

Receipts under $100 give less points but are still valid.
Fruit shop, supermarket, petrol, online shopping invoices -EBay etc are valid.

I’ve been using for 2-3 years
Collecting approx 120 points a week plus some monthly bonuses.
Redeem approx $40 per year for a few seconds after shopping, selling data/shopping habits.

Biggest bonus I’ve found was $50 warranty return for something that I’d have never kept a receipt for, that the retailer was fine with a photograph.

And it’s somewhere to dump small value Bunnings receipts then throw (must have the barcode in a photo)
Another $70 odd in warranty claims I’d possibly not have a receipt for.
