Agree, I expected something more grande.
The burgers are not better. They put less lettuce in the burgers now and even say that in the app, like what a joke they are one of the biggest fast food chains going this low to rip you off. The chicken royal I got recently had barely any lettuce in it just chicken and mayo.. If you want a good feed go to carls jr. They have same HJ taste but waaay better and heaps more generous, the chips are on another level. Cost pretty much the same
I think it has always had a subpar chicken (nugget-type) burger patty, probably better with cheese and dijon mustard if you bring your own condiments.

If I was to analyse… maybe Chicken Royale are similar to McChicken at McDonald’s which is $7 each vs cheeseburger $4…..
