      They both suck

My old bagged Meile could suck the nails out of a board.

    • Asking for a friend … but where can I buy one of these Miele's that are good at sucking

Anything requiring bags sucks the wrong way. Bagless or nothing.

I compared my Dyson 65 Animal to Miele C3 with the carpet in my car.

Next day I put the Dyson out the front on the nature strip.

I also prefer the occasional swapping of a filth pouch to the flappy heresy that was the Dyson. Nine times out of ten I’d miss the bin when emptying the Dyson and just have another mess.

      • to each their own I guess. I can cope with a little dust when emptying the bin, don’t like the idea of having to check a bag and buy replacements.

    • Takes like 10 secs to replace the bag

      • Not much different to emptying the bin, and I don’t have to buy bags

  • Miele S5 series and above with a spinning hair removal head. I believe 5-6 years ago Miele cap their vacuum motor to below 2000w due to EU legislation so it lost some of the appeal. Those are the beast that suck the dyson into oblivion.

    • God damn those bureaucrats in the EU know how to ruin a product. Thanks for your input, ozbargain exists because manufacturers no longer produce a consistent product and we have to second guess every purchase now.
