Best Budget ($50ish) Wireless Keyboard and Mouse

Hi guys, looking to buy a reliable sleek wireless keyboard and mouse but don't want to spend any more than $50ish for both.

Purely for WFH use, and would like a separate numpad on the keyboard.

I've sort of narrowed it down to:

  • Dell Pro Wireless Keyboard and Mouse KM5221W
  • Microsoft Wireless Desktop 900
  • Logitech MK295 Silent Wireless Combo

Which of the above 3 do people have good experience with?

Any other options around this price? Could even consider separate keyboard and mouse (rather than combo) but don't think it would work given the price.

Cheers!

  • I like the Dell Keyboard, I changed the mouse, as I wanted a logitech mouse. Sent you some coupons to try if you go with Dell.
I had to put the receiver closer (it's plugged into my monitors usb slot)

    • Thanks.

Won't be getting keyboard + mouse for close to $50 …

  • I have a Logitech MK295 at work and a Logitech MK270R at home. I find the MK295 easy to use and both the keyboard and mouse have a nice feel; not mushy, despite the dampening. The keyboard becomes a little louder once it's been broken in, but it is still much quieter than a typical desktop keyboard.

  • I have the bottom two.

After only a year or two, the space bar is squeaky on the Microsoft keyboard. The keys feel more like laptop keys, but noisier. Some letters have worn off. The mouse wheel doesn't work properly in one direction anymore. The USB dongle sticks out twice as long (or slightly more) than the Logitech one.

Have been using the Logitech keyboard for a few months, much quieter, but also very mushy keys comparatively to the Microsoft, so may not be to your liking. Using a M720 mouse with it, so cannot comment on the bundled one.
