28 Degrees - Price Protection

Hey guys, how do I know if I’ve opt-in to price protection or not?

I’ve been a card holder since Wizard days but can’t remember if I’ve opted in if not.

  • Do you have a "Shoppers Protection" charge at the bottom of your statement? If not you're out of luck

    • Even if the closing balance is $0?

      • No, won't show if balance is $0. Try checking a statement when you did spend?

  • Are you able to call and ask? I've had to call them before and they were able to help me.

    • There’s TGG sale that ends tonight and the call Centre is closed

      • After logging into the 28 Degrees Online Service Centre, click on "Insurance" in the top menu.

On that page I see something that says this:

Great news! Our records show that your Latitude 28 Degrees Global Platinum Mastercard already has Shopper's Protection insurance.
        Price Protection
If you buy an eligible item on your card in Australia and within 12 months the item is available at a lower price at the same retailer or any other Australian retailer, we'll pay the price difference back on your card. We'll pay a maximum of $5,000 in any 12 month period.* So, you won't have to miss out on a deal.

Do you see the same thing?

        • I get:

Credit card insurance: We are not currently issuing new policies.

          :(

          • +1

I have the same. So can confirm you don't have it. :(
