Where Can I Buy Frozen Battered Flake from?

Back in the days probably 20 years ago I use to buy bulk frozen battered flake/potato cakes from a local shop that sold frozen food.

With prices going up can’t afford fish n chips anymore. Would like to make my own.

Has anyone seen frozen flake/potato cakes around?

  • Supermarkets sell them, ask at the butcher section.

When i was growing up fish and chips was a cheap meal but as you stated NOT ANYMORE..

Why not buy fresh flake and batter it yourself, It’s a quick process
Although crumbed fish (from Coles freezer section) in the air fryer is delicious, even crumbed chicken.

Can understand you wanting to buy the frozen potato cakes tho…

    Goodluck 👍

    • I might give buying fresh flake my self thank you

    Your location might be helpful…….

Lots of places around sell bulk/wholesale products like this.

  • I've seen these potato cakes at IGA, NQR and Tasman Butchers over the years. They're okay.
