Samsung Galaxy S21 FE July Updates Not Here Yet?

I haven't received the July updates for the S21 FE. This is almost end of July, I can't believe it can be this late. Anyone else using this phone face the same? Or there's something wrong with my phone?

No you are not the only one, I have been waiting for it too.

    • Thanks for confirming that! Cheers

Ha ha, I know patience! I came from xiaomi phones. But at least Xiaomi didn't promise monthly security updates when I bought the Mi phone. Samsung sure did and that's only reason I got back into Samsung

      • lol

Alotta detail there Terry. Think about easing back on the multiple Samsung phone posts or are you running out of topics to post?

        • Sorry, did i post multiple Samsung post? I am not aware of that or did you confuse me with someone else? This is my virgin post if you notice my L plate

          • @Red Terence: So you have L plates on the Monaro?

  • Something is wrong and you need it fixed?

    First world problems

  • Should have gone pixel if you wanted timely android security updates.

  • Samsung AU still has to get some testing/approvals from the Telco that sells the device before releasing the update to the mass market. On average my S21 5G is about 28 to 30 days and my S21 Ultra is 25 days behind the pixel updates.

Just be patent, it's not like the old days when you would wait months for an update.

    Eventually, it will come.

Firmware releases into the Australian regions are often weeks behind other regions, and sometimes skipped. If it is important to you though, manually updating the firmware is easy. There's a wiki on how to do it at https://forums.whirlpool.net.au/thread/9lyrmp23

    • Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately Samsung hasn't released the firmware for Australia to flash. Casually checked, havent seen any for Exynos S21 FE. Not considering a custom rom at moment as it will void the warranty

      • The S21 series, as with all Galaxy phones from the last few years, use the same firmware, regardless of region. I flash, on release day, the firmware downloaded from whichever regions have it released - currently on my S22, I'm running firmware from Egypt, last month it was from Malaysia and the month before, from Singapore. It is genuine Samsung firmware, and exactly the same firmware as would be released in Australia.
