My poor Jug (Pug x Jack Russell), had to put him down after he lost 30% of his weight and after 8k later vets couldnt say what his issue was but the long term costs of keeping him was high and he would be in pain :( He was only 7 years old.
I miss him
They really are the bestest friends… I still mourn my cat I lost 2 years ago now…

@Turd: That's absolutely horrible - the way they wriggle out of paying/helping, just adds insult to injury. A devastating time with a nice kick in the guts from the insurer for good measure. I'm sorry you had to go through all of that in what should have been a wonderful time for your young family…
