I am wanting to buy a particular stock listed in the US, I only want to buy this stock and looking to hold it long term. I have not traded before and obviously need to open an account but the more I research the more my head spins. Can anyone suggest a reliable, easy company to deal with for a complete newb? I have had a friend suggest Selfwealth, but I have no idea.

Are there markups on AUD/USD conversions with them?
charge a transparent 0.60% spread when transferring to or from USD.
