I have bought a Coles Myer gift card from LL thanks to the Bano promotion. I need to get some stuff from bunnings and I very rarely shop at Coles (ex woolies employee so still have that loyalty). I was wondering if bunnings gift cards, or any other gift card for that matter, can be purchased at Coles using a Coles/Myer gift card?

I placed an order on Coles online the other day and I picked up directly from Coles. Shop also counted towards flybuys offers

Lol not that it matters for anything, but only shopped at Coles because 20% alcohol discount. 4% discount for shopping at woolies plus an employee discount, don't know why you're offended that I don't shop at Coles?

If it's a physical card yes you can buy other gift cards. Some Coles will allow through self checkout, some will tell you to go to the manned checkouts.
Ask to pay by card, not gift card. Some nosey operators will see you are using a gift card and tell you it's not possible, but ignore them and swipe the card. It'll go through.

Agree, remove the GC from its wrapper and maybe even hold it with a CC on top so they cannot tell what card you are using. Best do it at the self checkout.

I bought a $50 Amazon gift card with a Coles gift card at a self checkout once, but I couldn't buy a gift card with my Flybuys dollars.

Yup that's how I got the Coles gift card. I was hoping to make the process of converting flybuys points to ebay/amazon gift cards more efficient and less wasteful. It was before they brought in the GIFT card that works with eBay directly* now.
*Flybuys mails me a GIFT card, I redeem it for an eBay gift card which is also mailed to me
I just did it again an hour ago. Bought a $50 eBay gift card with a Coles gift card through the self checkout. At the screen where it asks if I want to pay by Card, Gift Card, or cash, I selected Card instead of Gift Card.
Damn good stuff. Hopefully they don't "fix" that loophole. Great way to get rid of flybuys points
I would read some other threads. I don’t know myself, but I understand you can’t buy coles group and you can’t do split.
Thanks for the reply. Yeh I remember not being able to do split payments when Coles had the 10% off prepaid mastercard gift cards. I have looked at a few other posts and all signs are pointing to it not being an issue, but will let you know. Thanks again!
You can split payments but only at manned check outs.
Just purchased $150 of bunnings gift cards with a Coles Myer gift card in self serve. Confirmed it does work and you just select card payment! Thanks for the guidance guys

I just went through a Coles checkout to buy other gift cards with a Coles Myer gift card.
At the checkout it prompted for phone auth or something at the EFTPOS machine but the lady just put it through again and it worked.
Officeworks turned me away when I tried the same thing.

You can't buy giftcards using giftcards, from my experience.
I recall I tried to buy a $30 Switch eShop card from Woolies with a Gift Card and it declines it.
