Antsig, Lightning and USB-C to 3.5mm (or Headphone Jack), Good or Not?

I saw these at my local bunnings and thought I should look them up online, but no luck, as usual, anything not related to apple, Samsung or any other brand has no info whatsoever online

so my questions are:

1. what is the highest bit rate and sample rate

and

2. do they have any audio noise or hiss that would make this $22 purchase a bad choice?

I don't need another audio adapter but I am curious when I see a new one in the shops

They are. With fancier packaging for retail display. Many of them aren't even MFi which is your first checkpoint.

I bought a Google one from JB: https://www.jbhifi.com.au/products/google-usb-c-to-3-5mm-ada… as it was almost $4 cheaper than the Samsung one. Mostly good reviews and works fine for me.

  I bought an ALOGIC Elements Pro from jbhifi, it broke in about a year, this doesn't answer my question but interesting anyway

  I also have the google one and works perfectly fine. JB also sells apple ones. Both are cheaper than your respective bunnings link.
