Flybuys 1200 Points for Spending $30 Offer Stacking?

I got two offers for 1200 bonus points for spending $30. One expiring today and one expiring in 3 days.
If i activate both, and spend 30 today, will I get 2400 points?
I haven't activated either. I have been wondering how the algorithm works. Is it better if i dont activate offers that I am not sure that I will use?

Also, if I am busy today is there some way I can make an online order with $30 of stuff and click and collect tomorrow?

Sorry if these are stupid questions.

Thanks in advance.

I really don't mean to post a question that is already answered, but I really could not seem to find anything on the forums about this exact situation.

I did this last week and it stacked for me.

    • Till once it does not. It may work for most of time, but certainly not 100%.

They do stack up. Online order needs to be collected today for both to work also.

    • You would need to order $50 as this is the minimum unless you get Rapid which costs $5 and never seems available where I shop although it says it will be at a certain time. For $50 your discount will be less but at least you will get it because the risk is always if something is OOS you will not qualify.

  • No I don't think so. I get 2 offer too, but the second offer only valid for orders from 10 Aug and 12 Aug.

    • Mine is the same as yours so I can't stack unless I put the sale through at midnight 😊

Yes. I do this all the time.

Flybuys offers run Wed-Fri and Sat-Tue.

If you have one that expires Tue (or Fri) and another that starts Wed (or Sat) - they do stack.

I only shop evenings so not sure what time it starts working, but definitely after 6pm. Also, I only do in store, no idea how it works for online.

I was once told they do this to encourage people to shop on Tue/Fri evenings as these are their quietest times.

Shopping time is not one of the factors. I made it working around 11am but failed around 5.30pm before.

  • I’ve tried to stack instore and it didn’t work for me.

  • Have you checked the dates on them ? I guess the validity of the one expiring in 3 days will be starting tomorrow

Yes, a few times in the past they've stacked for me in very similar circumstances as you're describing OP.
Usually the "spend over $xx" offers run sequentially (that is, one ends before the next starts), but I've caught them overlapping on a few occassions and yes, the bonuses did stack.

Each time it happened I was surprised because I don't think they're supposed to do that. Usually in the T&Cs they have something like "not valid in conjunction with another FlyBuys offer" (I'm paraphrasing, something like that). But I'm not complaining.

Yes, they do stack. I have done it dozens of times on Friday and have failed only twice once on Tuesday. No idea why. So end up with 40% off. I also suspect that Coles knows about this. It is much safer to do them in-store because if something is OOS you will not get the second offer and to get the first will have to contact Flybuys. I usually do it between 4 - 6 pm.

  • I tried once with two activated, did two separate orders at self-checkout both $30+ but only received one bonus 1200. Might try again since it seems to stack sometimes according to others?

Made two purchases with different flybuys yesterday, both stacked!

One 1pm-2pm, the other 5pm-6pm @ different locations.

    • So on one of your accounts, you did not even receive bonus points at all? Did you get the standard 30 plus points? If so you should be able to email them to claim one set of 1200 points. Helps if you have proof of activation I keep an sc. If you do another shop that is not stacking. You are just getting 1200 points for each shop.

I shopped this offer on 3 accounts and received double points on all. 40% off on $90 shop and many half-price items are pretty good.

Thank you so much guys. Both offers actually did work for the one transaction i did in store for $30.
    I got 1200 points twice.
