I was thinking about getting this one. What are other's thoughts? I have never spent so much on a tv so im mainly after a great picture, nice software and bang for buck.

Go with the Sony. A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush!
You will be able to negotiate more on the C1 as its an older model and is replaced by C2. the problem is its sold out in many places.
About a year ago I picked up a 65" BX for under 2k so should be possible when they do the sales to get rid of stock when the c2 is out.
Edit: Found the email for the order. Was actually $2300. Guess I thought I got a better deal.
May I ask where you purchased your BX? I've been looking at factory seconds but unable to find anything at a good enough price point.
@TotalEclipse: Just from JB. Most retailers will have good sales once the following year's model comes out.
I was tossing up between these 2 as well - I went with c1 55 - very happy with it would recommend
Sony has a wider range of Android applications, Samsung/LG you’re locked into available proprietary apps from manufacturers.

If its just movies, go with sony. LG c1 55 would be better for games if you can find stock.
