Which Paid Fitness App Do You Use?

I have tried onepeleton and aaptiv and founds them really good.
Onepeleton is $17 per month and essentially Netflix of exercise. Not sure there is VPN hack to get it cheaper.

Aaptiv is also good for outdoor training or just running on treadmill. It's around $80 per year or so if you get it on black Friday sale.

Just curious what premium apps do you guys use?

Isnt there enough free stuff on the university of youtube these days

    • Not that i have found. There is lots of yoga related stuff that is nicely curated like 30 days of yoga with Adrien. I haven't come across anything equivalent which is even 7 days. Not after bodybuilding but rather HIIT, Bootcamp type routines.

Let me know if you are aware of any curated list.

Of course there are 1000s of random videos but nothing like that 30 days of yoga with Adrian where you just turn that one and do that day for the week.

I subscribe to the Vegeta method of fitness. Pushups, sit-ups, and plenty of juice.

Nike training app is quite good. Do not like the new version where the entire workout is ONE video. But for a free app, i think it is quite good

  • What do you want out of the app? Training plans? just recording efforts? Social?

Not a lot of point getting a recommendation for something that doesn’t suit your usage.

    I don’t use anything paid.

Which Paid Fitness App Do You Use?

    Any free one.

  • Strava.

  • Ended up joining Les Mills as they had the special offer. Posted the deal: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/718811

Would love to know if there are any 7 day trainining type curated list to keep it interesting. Its odd that out of all the content of youtube, there isn't simple training list like that 30 day yoga with adrian that i mentioned.

  • Used youtube for free for years, then finally got a Peloton and currently pay $59/mth for the sub. Heaps different. Please don't take my ozb license.

Interested to know what you get for $60/month. That’s a lot of coin! Do you have a gym membership on top of that?

      • It's a fair bit, especially coming from free youtube workouts. But what we've found is that you do get what you pay for! We don't have extra gym memberships, the Peloton bike and various workouts is all we need. Here's a rundown of the features - https://www.insider.com/guides/health/fitness/peloton-digita…

I’m sure it suits your purposes but no way I’d be paying $60/month on top of an expensive bit of kit that doesn’t take me out of the house.

    • Any recommendation from youtube workout?
