Best Sim Churning Options

Hi all,

Just wondering what providers and deals people are using to keep their phone bill as low as possible.

I'm currently with Woolworths on the 12gb for $20 but tempted to start bouncing around again.

P.s is the Kogan $14.90 for 3 months still going?

Cheers

    Amaysim, Kogan rotation

      I can vouch for Amaysim.
Currently paying $30 for 55G, including calls to overseas if that is important.
You also keep any unused data from your monthly plan. I am sitting on 408gb of banked data on top of my monthly 55gb. I'll never ever use it all.

Belong $15 per month for 5gb, i don't use a lot of data as i'm always at work

At <$170 for 12 months, why would you go that way and not a Boost 12 month pre-paid?

That's $14.17/month for 11.67GB/month, without the hassle of dealing with it monthly, and the full Telstra network…

      • Good question, i guess i just like the monthly data cap rather than having it all in a lump. i don't find it a hassle as it just automatically comes off my card each month.

i could setup data limits on my phone monthly but that seems an actual hassle.

and i don't like the idea of boost being owned by a US company

          What?

Belong is a small broadband provider wholly owned by Telstra

Boost Mobile Prepaid telecommunications services are currently provided by Telstra Corporation Limited.

Boost is Australian. The brand was founded here. The Boost service in USA started a year later.

          • @ParmiAndChips: Exactly, by Peter Adderton. Sponsors the Erebus V8 Supercar team.

    • The $80 sim is easily gotten for $25 on eBay with shipping - that’s 5 months paid, slap on referrals ($100 credit with a code, then $25 first month, downgrade to $15 plan), it’s good value.

  • Depends on what service you get. Optus gives a lot of data (or used to… lately I think telstra mvnos have taken the lead) but I get terrible optus reception at home so I avoid those ones.

WW is unbeatable for primary phone if you don't use a lot of data. Just wish they had Volte, but you can't always get everything

I'm with catch mobile, originally 15gig for $15 a month but they started doing 18gig for $15 and auto upgraded me. Based on the Optus network

How about the 100% cashback boost sim cards, when available? Can you port numbers into those?

I've been buying Boost sim with 100% cashback and been swapping between them and Gomo

Between belong sims from Telstra deals and felix, I’ve paid nothing. Kogans also good of course

    • Any idea if Kogan still has the 3 months for $14.90? I couldn't find it

      • No, it has no stock. The funny thing is that Kogan sent me 2+ emails recently with this deal and tried to reel me back, but the product link shows no stock.
